Abstract:
This work was performed on rabbit arrhythmia model produced by electrical stimulation of amygdaloid complex. At the same time the indexes of isovolume contraction phase which demonstrated the change of myocardial contractility was examined by left ventricular catheterization via the rabbit carotid. Results suggest that the level of the myocardial contractility with ectoplc arrhythmla was lower than that of the sinus rhythm.Changes of heart rate affected the myocardial contractility.Physiological maximal shortening velocity(Vpm)was correlated with ECG R-R duration.During the period of sinus bradycardia, the level of contractility with supraVentrlcular premature seems higher than that of sinus bradycardia.
