- Abstract:
- The QTc interval(QTc)of the first ECG within 24 h since onset were studied in 58 cases of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).The QTc was less than 430 ms in 31 cases,of which no one was accompanied by cardiogenic events such as ventricular fibrillation, cardiogenic shock, pump failure.The QTc was equal to and more than 450 ms in 16 cases, of which 81.25% (13/16) of the cases were accompanied by cardiogenic events.The QTc of the AMI cases accompanied or not accompanied cardiogenic events was 478.11±25.88 ms and 4111.3±33.11ms, respectively (P<0.01).The results results suggested that prolonged QTc has reference value in predicting AMI accompanied by cardiogen ic events.
