摘要:
目的 探讨老年高血压病患者血清瘦素(Leptin)与颈动脉内膜中层厚度(IMT)的关系。方法 选取60岁以上老年高血压病患者111例为研究对象,进行血压、血糖、血脂、血清瘦素的测定并测定腰臀比(WHR)计算体质量指数(BMI),使用高分辨率超声检测双侧颈动脉IMT,把研究对象按IMT分为两组:IMT<1.0 mm(n=54)组和IMT≥1.0 mm(n=57)组,比较两组的差异,并进行相关性分析。结果 IMT≥1.0 mm组年龄、体质量、BMI、SBP、WHR、Leptin、TC、TG、HDL-C、LDL-C均显著高于IMT<1.0 mm组,leptin与IMT具有相关性(r=0.85,P<0.01)。结论 老年高血压病患者leptin与IMT明显相关。
Abstract:
AIM: To explore the relationship between leptin and intima-media thickness (IMT) of the carotid wall and to observe the effects of leptin on the development of arterial atherosclerosis in elderly hypertensive patients. METHODS: This study included 111 patients >60 years of age with hypertension (study group) and 43 healthy elderly patients (control group). Blood pressure, fasting serum leptin, fasting glucose and lipids were measured, and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) and body mass index (BMI) were calculated in all subjects. IMT of carotid artery was quantified by high-resolution ultrasound imaging. Difference between groups was compared and the correlation was analyzed in the study group. RESULTS: A significant difference was found in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, waist-to-hip ratio, leptin and IMT between groups (P<0.01). In the study group, leptin level was correlated with IMT level and IMT level was correlated positively with age, WHR and leptin (r=0.38, r=0.15, r=0.84, respectively)(all P<0.01). CONCLUSION: Hypertensive patients have higher levels of leptin and IMT than controls. Leptin level is significantly correlated with IMT in the study group.
